Divisions happen everywhere. Whether in companies, or families, or even the church.
Apostle Paul wrote to arrest the problem of divisions in the Corinthian Church, and we will do well to learn.
The number 1 danger that threatens church unity is human pride. This carnal fleshly arrogance manifests in a superiority complex that parades itself in forming sects or gangs, thereby tearing the church apart. Instead of being one people in Christ, the church is broken up into different little pieces glorifying man.
So what is the solution? It will take us 4 chapters to discover more, but this sermon focuses on how the gospel must be the framework to the restoring of unity in the church.
