Episode notes

In this spring catch-up episode, I'm sharing what's been happening in my world. We just welcomed a new dog into our family, and I've been sitting with the question How do we tell history in honest, inclusive, and age-appropriate ways?

On the work front, I'm leading workshops on change management essentials, communication styles, and productive conflict, and I'm using the DISC assessment as a core framework across all of it. I'm also speaking at a nonprofit board retreat about board dynamics and leadership and doing a podcast swap I'm really excited about.

I close with a reading of Wild Geese by Mary Oliver, a poem I keep coming back to.

If you're in the Los Angeles area, join me at Collage in San Pedro, CA this Saturday. Here's all the info: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/podcasting-our-communities-the-podcasters-speak
