Emily Duval Ledger has learned a lot about life and leadership over the years, and now she's challenging herself to do it on roller skates.
Emily describes herself as a personal trainer, business coach, nature nerd, roller skater, and, with a question mark, she adds "joy bringer." Although I sometimes grumble when she brings cones as part of my workout or pushes me with her tenacious optimism, I can attest to the fact that she is truly a joy bringer, a generous soul, and a very thoughtful friend, daughter, sister, partner, and cat mama (among many things!).
Our conversation touches on many topics, including what she has learned in business over the past 20 years and how she began working with people who have Parkinson's disease. The common thread throughout the conversation is her belief that leadership and life-long learning go hand in hand.
