Episode notes
The Bible is clear, but it is often misunderstood. In this first message of the series, Dr. Rocky Ramsey teaches the importance of accurately handling the Word of God.
Scripture is not meant to be interpreted in isolation or reshaped by personal opinion. Instead, every verse must be understood in light of the whole Bible. When taken out of context, even familiar passages can be misunderstood or misapplied.
The message also challenges the idea that following God is simply about belief. Throughout Scripture, the call is not only to trust God, but to obey Him. Repentance—turning from wrong to right—is a consistent theme from Genesis to Revelation.
Ultimately, God’s Word stands as the final authority. It is not subject to culture, tradition, or personal preference. Instead, it is the standard by which all things are measured. To handle Scripture rightly is not just an intellectual exercise—it is a call to live differently.
