Episode 17 - Mando's Reviews

Well we finally got another episode out! February was brutal for both Nick and myself, but we'll tell you about that on the show. On this episode I sat down with my good friend Greg Fabre a.k.a. Mando's Reviews on Instagram. @mandos_reviews Mando and I review Green City by Other Hand Brewing. Bud and Nick review Sublimated Dreams by BBCO. Plus there is a huge hops profile in this beer so HOPS 101 covers all 5 of the NZ hops used to create this fabulous beer.

Episode 16 - Chris Gasero of Dead Language Beer Project

Chris Gasero of Dead Language Brewing Co. in Hartford, CT came to the studio and we talked about his beers and then I got to taste some of his beers. This is someone that really knows his stuff and you can hear in the conversation we had and you can really taste it in his beers.

Episode 15 - No Coast Taqueria

Bud sits down with Beau Williams of No Coast Taqueria in Ellington, CT to talk about his journey from Taco stand to brick and mortar restaurant. Dry January Dilemma skit - Let's help brewers through the hard month of January. Bud reviews FOUR FOURS DIPA.

Episode 14 - The Christmas Episode

We have a fun one here! Bud and Nick review 7 beers from Black Pond Brewing that were given to him while visiting the brewery. Since it was a gift, and gift giving is in the spirit of Christmas, they thought it would be perfect for this show. Also, we have a special addition of HOPS 101 and a very special Christmas Story with Santa and beer. Why not, right? It's all right here on Bud's Beer Blurb the Podcast.

Episode 13 - Thanksgiving and John Prout

This our Thanksgiving episode and with it comes a special Thanksgiving skit. Dinner at Tony's House. We also have John Prout in the studio and he will be talking about his experience as an Open Mic Night Host at Urban Lodge Brewing Co. in Manchester, CT. There is another episode of Hops 101 and a segment about pairing beers with certain Thanksgiving foods. The info is good but the guest is a little different, to put it nicely. Episode 12 - B Sharp Brewing

On this episode we sit down with Matt Clark and Josh Torres of B Sharp Brewing and they explain their new brewery and a little bit about where they are taking it. Nick and I review Rare Fog by Abomination Brewing. This Triple IPA sparks the need for a new addition of HOPS 101. Plus we have another commercial called, "Insta-Beer." Episode 11 Bryan Ayers and Labyrinth Closing

On this episode we are talking with Bryan Ayers of Elicit Brewing Co. in Manchester, CT about his journey to become the Head Brewer of Elicit. We also have Adam Delaura and Sean Guerra of Labyrinth Brewing Co. telling their story of why their brewery had to close. We also have another HOPS 101 featuring KRUSH hops and a humorous commercial for a new beer called Brewmaster's Delight. (Totally fake of course.)

Episode 10 - Taylor Brooke and Day's Day Brewing

Nick and I sat down with Owner Ralph Fiegel and Sales Lead Jessica Houlker of Taylor Brooke Brewery in Woodstock, CT We also have Jake Sweet and Maxx McNall of Dad’s Day Brewing. They are a couple of homebrewers that impressed the heck out of me at a brew fest.

Episode 9 - Safe Bar Interview

On this episode I get the opportunity to sit with Jess and Mekayla of the Connecticut chapter of Safe Bar. Nick and I review Blue Dream IPA by BBCO HOPS 101 takes a look at Blue Dream terpene, the flavor source for Blue Dream IPA

Episode 8 - New Cambridge Project

I had the opportunity to go to the New Cambridge Project in Bristol CT where the Firefly Hollow brewery used to stand. I sat down with Spencer Shankle, one of the owners to have a chat. Reviewing Scribble Dibble NEIPA by Labyrinth Brewing Co. Our Hops 101 segment is about the hops used in Scribble Dibble, the Elani LupoMax. And another ridiculous fake commercial!
