Let's meet Aaliyah Parker / Grad Student - Cheektowaga NY Aaliyah talks about her transition to Bona from Niagara University, how summer workouts are going for her (and the team), her basketball background, and what her future plans may be. Aaliyah also talks about what she's looking forward to from this season, and what she feels she brings to the team.

Meet The Bonnies - Frank Mitchell

Frank describes his path to St. Bonaventure through his younger days - including the transition from hockey to basketball. He talks about the struggle of leaving sports to work in construction during the pandemic and the return to basketball with the help of several mentors in his life. Frank remembers playing in the Reilly Center during his days at Canisius, and how intense the fans in the RC can be! We also learn about his mentality concerning rebounding and how he approaches the defensive end of every possession. The proximity to his home was a big draw for Frank to come be a part of Bona Nation, and his relationship with Woj - as was playing for Head Coach Mark Schmidt. Frank also details his leadership roles, learning and growing during the summer with his teammates, the "Breakfast Club", and the influence of Andrew Nicholson on his career and game. Meet The Bonnies - Elyse MacDonough

Let's meet Elyse MacDonough / Freshman - Burlington, VT Elyse talks about how the transition from prep school to NCAA Division 1 competition helped her basketball growth. Off the court bonding with teammates, and the summer workouts have been important to Elyse - as she also discusses her early basketball career, and how tough it was playing for her father in AAU. Elyse also details what brought her to St. Bonaventure, the culture & the community. Her post-basketball career could lead to coaching, since Elyse has a long line of coaches in her immediate family. The excitement of wearing the Brown & White and playing in the Reilly Center is also a huge extra for Elyse. And she gives some younger players advice on how to reach their basketball goals!

Let's meet Iva Corluka / Freshman - Ardsley, NY Iva tells us about the summer workouts and her transition to St. Bonaventure. She also details her journey to this year's Bonnies squad, as well as her athletic background. Iva also discusses her long-range personal goals and what she's looking forward to from this season - including what she feels she brings to the team, and how her game is influenced by WNBA star A'ja Wilson. She's also excited to play in the Reilly Center in front of the greatest fans in college basketball, and she offers some great advice to younger players!

Meet The Bonnies - Amar'e Marshall

Let's meet Amar'e Marshall / Redshirt Senior - Montclair, NJ Amar'e introduces himself by detailing his journey through basketball at the Y at a young age - through his college transfers. He talks about the family atmosphere here at St. Bonaventure, which made a huge impression and convinced him to come to Bona. Amar'e also discusses his new teammates, the summer workouts, and getting adjusted to campus. He's also really excited to play in front of Bona Nation in the Reilly Center, and the intensity of Atlantic 10 competition. Amar'e also lays out the type of player and type of game he's ready to bring to the Brown & White!

Meet The Bonnies - Brillana Boyd

Let's meet Brillana Boyd / Junior - Redondo Beach, CA Brillana details her journey here to St. Bonaventure, certainly a change from the Pacific Coast to Western New York! Her brother was a collegiate athlete as well and influenced Brillana - and her link to Bonnies great Dion Wright is revealed. She discusses her summer workouts, and assimilating into the current squad. BB also details her desire to become a teacher - and how she's looking forward to playing in front of Bona Nation in the Reilly Center.

Meet The Bonnies - Daniel Egbuniwe

Let's meet Daniel Egbuniwe / Senior - Memphis, TN Daniel has gone on an interesting journey to St. Bonaventure - from growing up in Memphis, his basketball path through high school and on to a college career. The "family atmosphere" of Bona attracted Daniel to transfer here, especially meeting Coach Schmidt and GM Adrian Wojnarowski. He also details the summer workouts, and getting to learn his new teammates. Daniel is excited about this year's Bonnies squad - especially how the team is already merging together on the floor. And he describes his game as "versatile", looking forward to playing in front of Bona Nation this year!
