Dr Mark Cooksey is Managing Director and CEO of ABx Group. He initially joined ABx as CEO of Alcore, which he joined in February 2020 after more than 20 years with Rio Tinto and CSIRO.Dr Cooksey holds a PhD (Chemical & Materials Engineering), Bachelor of Engineering (Materials – First Class Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Information Technology and Applied Mathematics). He has worked closely with aluminium and other metal industries, and has significant experience in commercialising new technologies and processes.
