You know that horror villain who always seems to come back no matter how many times he gets knocked down? This October, it’s the return of the pledge drive. We’re raising $60,000 to expand our coverage of radioactive monsters from outer space, improve our equipment to broadcast warnings of alien invasions, prepare for zombie apocalypse emergencies, and bring our teen radio program back from the dead. If Pirate Cat Radio is part of your world, come be part of ours. Please support us at KPCR.org/donate.
A good assortment of hip hop, funk, R&B, punk, ska, a dip into the heavier stuff and finish with some folk to send you on your way!

Starting with some haunting melodies and moving through some punk, indie, ska, and a lot of in between! Lots of Bay Area representation in this one!
A great mix of indie pop, ska, some hardcore/post hardcore, and a good selection of indie rock. Straight to your brainstem!
Starting with some femme fatale rock and roll and moving through alt, punk, some weird stuff and ending with some soothing indie. Little pockets of hyper-fixation, straight to your brain stem.
This episode goes hard from the beginning and doesn’t let up! Traversing through punk, indie, and pop, stopping for a short visit in metalcore and finishing with some R&B and hiphop. Enjoy!
This week starts with a groove and amps up to some high energy local, indie, folk, ska, and punk music. Enjoy!
My first episode! I think you'll get a great idea of the kinds of things you can expect to hear on my show. Enjoy
