Are you Five Foot Strong? The Five Foot Strong Podcast will be available April 3, 2024. Hosted by, Jessica Gerlock, internationally certified personal trainer and author to the book, 'You Don't Make Friends with Salad: The Secret to Losing Weight and Feeling Better, with No Kale in Sight.' The Five Foot Strong Podcast will focus on our personal strengths, physical/mental health, what makes YOU personally strong and trends in health and weight loss. Whether you are 5 feet tall like Jessica or 5 foot 11, we are all Five Foot Strong in our own unique ways.

Chasing Your Happiness with guest Al Gord
Episode 2: Chasing Your Happiness with guest Al Gord Jessica has a conversation about chasing your happiness with guest Al Gord. Al Gord is an artist, mental health coach and advocate, and a former educational leader for one of the largest school boards in Ontario. While working as a principal, Al re-discovered his childhood passion for art, as a way to offset some of the stresses in his career. During this time, he began to re-evaluate what was most important to him, not only from a career standpoint, but from an "enjoying life" standpoint. Recognizing that his health, his happiness, control over his time and helping others, were driving forces for him, Al began a personal journey to find what would make him most fulfilled. In 2019, Al left education to focus on his art. Since that time, Al’s art has been exhibited in shows around the world and and has been featured in various art publications and he has supported numerous charities worldwide with his painting donations. Simultaneously, his desire to continue to help others has led him to become a mental health coach, with a focus on individuals with ADHD. Check out this episode of The Five Foot Strong Podcast.
