Beach Day Meditation
It's getting cold... at least in Canada it is. This visualization + present moment meditation will transport you to a calm warm beach.
Meditation for Focus
Like a monkey our thoughts can jump from thought to thought. Meditation is a tool we can use to calm our monkey minds, coming back to a place of focus.
Confidence Boosting Meditation
This mediation was inspired by a podcast I recently listened to featuring Mel Robbins, author of the book The High Five Habit. Thought I would share the link below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzxocWoxb14
Stress Relief Meditation
Feeling stressed out? Let calmness wash over you as you dive deep into this meditation that consists of breath awareness and progressive muscle relaxation. Click the link below for more info on progressive muscle relaxation. https://www.anxietycanada.com/articles/how-to-do-progressive-muscle-relaxation/
Energizing Meditation
Whether it is morning or at some point during your day, we can all use a little pick me up. In this episode Jessika will take you through an energizing meditation using imagery and a mantra.
Positive Affirmation Meditation
In the meditation, Jessika will encourage you to repeat affirming words or phrases that can help manage negative thinking or emotions and build confidence in your self.
Body Scan Meditation + Self Massage
Do you feel like there is tension build up in your body? Than here is a meditation for you. Scan you body from head to toe, pausing regularly to give yourself a little TLC to alleviate tension.
Meditation for Balance
Feeling a little off balance? Try this mediation and come back to your centre physically, and mentally. In this mediation we go through a body scan and practice alternate nostril breathing. This form of breath work is beneficial because it can help ease anxiety, increases focus and balances both hemispheres of the brain. I recognize that hearing the instructions for alternate nostril breathing (especially if it is your first time) may be a little strange, so please take a look at this link if you need a visual representation of what we are going to practice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8xIEzX40bA
Gratitude Meditation
Gratitude is strongly associated with greater happiness. In this mini gratitude meditation, travel back to experience gratitude from the past as well as the present.
A Mindful Moment Meditation
Often our minds are pulled in many directions which can lead to sensations of fogginess. Refocus with this is a super quick meditation to ground you to the present moment by connecting to all of your senses- sight, sound, taste, touch, smell.
