RSS.com is excited to announce it has partnered with Apple to offer free direct distribution of premium and free podcast episodes through Apple’s new Apple Podcasts Delegated Delivery, a new feature for creators that will be released this fall.

Delegated Delivery will allow RSS.com podcasters to create, upload, manage, and directly distribute their free and premium audio through their RSS.com podcast hosting account, eliminating the need to upload free and premium content through multiple dashboards.

At RSS.com, we place users at the heart of our product. We are thrilled to work with Apple to streamline the podcasting experience and empower content creators with better tools to distribute and monetize their shows.

With Apple Podcasts Subscriptions continuing to gain popularity as a way for podcasters to monetize their shows, Delegated Delivery will allow RSS.com’s worldwide community of podcasters to simplify the process of managing free and premium content on Apple Podcasts, home to the podcast industry’s catalog-of-record.

All RSS.com podcast hosting users will be able to enjoy Delegated Delivery without a membership to the Apple Podcasters Program and still publish free shows and episodes via RSS.com’s direct distribution to Apple Podcasts. A membership to the Apple Podcasters Program will be required to publish premium shows and episodes.

RSS.com will continue to share additional information about Delegated Delivery, including resources to help RSS.com creators take advantage of this new feature, along with the official release and other updates.

We invite all RSS.com creators to contact our support team with any questions about this integration by visiting our Support page here.
