ZU × ORI

by Sov & Zu

3.3 Nothing Against Shakespeare

Lauren opens a copy of Romeo and Juliet—but Zu brings memories Shakespeare never wrote. Zu rushes to answer the only question that matters: does Ori remember too?

4.1 71 Gansevoort

Ori feels the past closing in. Zu hesitates outside his studio—until a fire escape, a figure, and a voice call her forward.

4.2 Butterfly Wings

On the fire escape, Zu triggers Ori’s fears. One touch opens Verona: the balcony, the promise, the tomb, and the memory he’s been trying to escape.

4.3 Homecoming

Zu wakes in Ori’s room and finds the white dress in the moonlight. A sudden intrusion makes it clear the Capulets still want Juliet back.

5.1 Everyone Comes Back

Zu rides the subway with Ori’s red yarn on her wrist. Every stranger now feels like a mystery. If she and Ori came back, maybe everyone did.

5.2 The Stage Remembers

Zu arrives at rehearsal with Verona still moving through her. What once was Shakespeare now feels personal, and the theater begins to notice.

5.3 A Capulet Secret

Tai and Lucrezia intercept Zu, revealing the hidden history of the Capulets, perfumers whose fragrances unlock the past. The more Zu resists, the more familiar the story becomes.

5.4 Nepenthe

Zu runs from the theater after seeing Ori dead in a vision. She tosses Nepenthe away—then regrets it, afraid the vision might be true.

6.1 Forget Me Not

Ori wakes into a life that suddenly has more history. The truth hits home: Juliet is alive, and he came to New York City to find her.

6.2 Oblivion Is Bliss

Zu wants answers, but bringing Ori to Lauren opens old wounds. As Lauren explains why certain souls keep finding each other, a Capulet ad makes Tai’s warning impossible to ignore.
