Ep.20: We Have Thoughts… Oscars 2026, Snubs, Surprises, & MORE
Episode notes
This week on Yap About It, we’re covering everything that had the internet talking — and yes, we have a lot of thoughts.
First up, celebrity headlines you probably saw (and maybe didn’t believe), including rumors about Tom Holland and Zendaya being married… and all the AI photos.
Then, they we discuss the shocking situation involving A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, a reminder that fame isn’t always glamorous.
We also get into Timothée Chalamet stirring up controversy (again) after his comments about opera and ballet — and let’s just say… the internet had opinions.
Then it’s time for the main yap: the 98th Academy Awards.
From Conan O'Brien’s hosting moments to the wins, the snubs, and the questionable decisions, we’re breaking it all down.
Was Best Picture deserved? Who should’ve won? And why are we still thinking about certain movies days later?
We’re also talking standout performances like Michael B. Jordan’s big win, Jessie Buckley’s emotional performance, and the films that had us shocked, confused, or fully invested (Begonia, we’re looking at you 👀).
Plus — major wins and history-making moments, including K-Pop Demon Hunters taking over, huge representation milestones, and horror finally getting its flowers at the Oscars.
Oh, and we have to talk about everything in between: Irish actors taking over Hollywood, speeches getting cut off (rude), viral moments, and all the little details that made this year’s awards unforgettable.
Grab your popcorn (or a glass of wine) and let’s Yap About It!. 🎬🍿
