Build What Will Last (1 Corinthians 3:5-17) with Pete Brunette 11.9.25

This week we continued our series, The Wisdom of God, by looking at 1 Corinthians 3:5–17 with guest speaker Pete Brunette, Campus Director for StuMo at OU. Paul writes this to leaders in the church, but the truths are applicable for us today! Paul reminds us to build what will last on Christ as our foundation.

Solid Food is For the Saints (1 Corinthians 2:13-3:4) 11.2.25

This week we continued our series, The Wisdom of God, by looking at 1 Corinthians 2:13–3:4. In this passage, Paul reminds us that the Holy Spirit enables both understanding and obedience of God’s truth, helping believers move from spiritual infancy to maturity. Wisdom from the Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:1-12) 10.26.25

In this passage, Paul reminds us to boast only in Christ and His cross, because in His wisdom, God chooses to save the foolish, the weak, and the lowly. A United Family (1 Corinthians 1:10-17) 10.12.25

This week in our series The Wisdom of God, we looked at 1 Corinthians 1:10–17 and were reminded that because Christ alone unites believers, we are called to live as a family, not as rivals. Paul urges the church toward unity, exposes the causes of division, and points us back to the center of our unity, Jesus! God's Gifts Keep on Giving (1 Corinthians 1:1-9) 10.5.25

This week we began a new series, The Wisdom of God! We looked at Paul’s greeting in 1 Corinthians 1:1-9 where we saw that God calls us to be saints, so we must remember who and whose we are. We will see 2 points in Paul's greeting: God Gives Us a New Identity (vv1–3) God Gives Us a New Purpose (vv4–9) Follow along as we continue learning from Paul's letter to the church in Corinth!

God's Grace in a Quiet Place (1 Kings 19:1-18) 9.21.25

This week, we looked at God’s Grace in a Quiet Place as Kevin walked us through 1 Kings 19:1–18! Even in seasons of weakness and discouragement, God reminds us of His unchanging, unfinished, and unstoppable plan. In this passage, we followed Elijah through: The Descent to Depression (vv. 1–8) The Ascent to Providence (vv. 9–18) We saw how we can strengthen our souls by remembering God's unchanging, unfinished, and unstoppable plan.

Who's on the Throne? (1 Corinthians 2-3, Matthew 28:19-20) with Ben Seiler 9.7.25

From 1 Corinthians 2:9–3:3, Ben Seiler, Cru’s Team Leader at OU, reminds us that Christ is meant to reign on the throne of our lives. With Jesus at the center, we can intentionally spend time with non-believers so they can also see and hear the hope of the gospel.
