In this episode of Warrior Wisdom: A Day in the Life at FBA, Mrs. Teresa Chambers sits down with Marcy Harwell Clark, director of early childhood, and Jeanie Cherry, prek education leader, to talk about the intentional foundation being built in FBA's earliest years. The conversation explores what makes FBA's early childhood and prek experience distinctive in Houston, how much learning happens through play and what spiritual formation looks like for the school's youngest students. A Day in the Life at FBA: More Than a Shared Campus, A Ministry Partnership with Houston’s First

Did you know that First Baptist Academy and Houston's First are not simply sharing a campus, but are partnering in ministry to form the next generation? In this episode of Warrior Wisdom: A Day in the Life at FBA, Jacob Baggett, minister to students at Houston's First, and Tiffany Whitaker, FBA's director of advancement, join Mrs. Teresa Chambers ahead of this year's FBA Day at Houston's First. A Day in the Life at FBA: Little Warriors, Big Entrepreneurial Minds

Did you know FBA's kindergartners can tell you about growth mindset, grit, redefining failure and opportunity seeking? In this episode of Warrior Wisdom: A Day in the Life at FBA, Mrs. Teresa Chambers sits down with kindergarten teachers Kathryn Sellers, Hayley Smolen and Chanel Thomas to talk about how FBA's entrepreneurial mindset comes to life for our youngest Warriors. The conversation explores how these ideas are translated into language and habits a five or six-year-old can understand and use, turning "I can't do this" into "I can't do this yet,” for example. The teachers share how the pillars of the entrepreneurial mindset are paired with a stuffed animal, giving students a tangible way to recognize and apply these ideas and giving parents the opportunity to partner with us to reinforce the same language and habits at home. This episode is a reminder that the entrepreneurial mindset at First Baptist Academy isn't reserved for middle school; it starts in kindergarten, building habits of curiosity, perseverance and problem-solving that will serve students for a lifetime.
