Warcraft (2016): The Worst Green Screen Movie Ever Made By Hollywood

Based upon one of the biggest MMORPG's of all time and helmed by a lauded indie darling, Duncan Jones (Moon) attempts to bring World Of Warcraft to the big screen. Jamie and Rory know very little about WoW, will the movie be an accessible starting point or will they be completely lost? There's only one way to find out... Resident Evil 6: The Final Chapter (2016): All The Game Characters Left Off-Screen

This is it. The one we've been building to since the very first episode of VGMP (seriously, I'm fairly certain Jamie went on a rant about this movie in that very first episode). The one Jamie has been dreading. The final instalment in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil series. Jamie considers The Final Chapter to be one of the worst movies he has ever seen, will the passage of time have softened his opinion or will he hate it just as much? And what will Rory make of this franchise ender? Listen to find out! Visit our website at www.vgmovie.co.uk Visit our Wiki of Videogame Adaptations at www.vgmp.fandom.com

Werewolves Within (2021): Surprise Classic With Some Minor Woke Tones

Based on the VR game this horror comedy was a little-seen indie movie that probably deserved more eyes on it. When a new park ranger arrives in a town filled with oddball residents, he enters a tense situation spurred on by a wealthy oil magnate. Things go from bad to worse however when a werewolf arrives on the scene! Visit our website at www.vgmovie.co.uk Visit our Wiki of Videogame Adaptations at www.vgmp.fandom.com

Dead Rising: Endgame (2016): Even Billy Zane Doesn't Want To Be Here

A while back, now defunct network Crackle made a Dead Rising movie called "Watchtower." Turns out they also made a sequel and we're watching it today on VGMP! "Dead Rising: Endgame" sees Jesse Metcalfe return along with Dennis Haysbert and a bunch of new characters including an appearance from Billy Zane making another videogame movie appearance! The first movie was a bit disappointing for the guys so how will this second instalment fare? Visit our website at www.vgmovie.co.uk Visit our Wiki of Videogame Adaptations at www.vgmp.fandom.com

Corpse Party (2013): Never Been So Bored Of Murder

Jamie and Rory take a look at this low budget Japanese movie based on cult horror game "Corpse Party." We covered this film once before but due to some illness-induced mishaps we felt we didn't give it a proper chance so we decided to tackle it again this year! Until Dawn (2025): Try And Stay Awake Until Dawn

This interactive slasher game was a big success for Sony at one point and inspired a whole wave of similar games including The Dark Pictures Anthology and The Quarry, but one might wonder if there is any point in turning a game that was essentially a playable movie into a regular old non-playable movie. On this episode of VGMP, Jamie and Rory take a look to see if Until Dawn makes for a good movie. Visit our website at www.vgmovie.co.uk Visit our Wiki of Videogame Adaptations at www.vgmp.fandom.com

Hitman (2007): An Olyphant Never Forgets

This week on VGMP we dip into the Hitman franchise for the first time with this 2007 movie. As a self confessed "olyphan" will Jamie finally approve of a video game movie? Visit our website at www.vgmovie.co.uk Visit our Wiki of Videogame Adaptations at www.vgmp.fandom.com

Company of Heroes (2013): Vinnie Jones Calls A Russian A Wanker

On this week's episode of VGMP we're looking at a little known videogame movie; Company Of Heroes. Starring Tom Sizemore, Vinnie Jones and regular VGMP actor Neal McDonough. Deep in enemy territory, soldiers from a few allied nations are forced to work together to infiltrate a German prison and rescue a scientist who has been working on a top secret weapon. Resident Evil 5: Retribution (2012): All The Game Characters Are In At Last!

We are now five movies deep in the "Anderson-verse" of Resident Evil movies and Jamie is almost at breaking point as his favourite franchise continues to be butchered on screen. These movies continue to ignore their own continuity and in this instalment the movie takes on a videogame feel in the worst way, being split across several "levels" in Umbrella's testing facility. In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (2007): Temu Lord Of The Rings By Uwe Bloody Boll

Once again Uwe Boll is back in the hot seat as we review another of his video game movie offerings, this time it's "In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale." Starring Jason Statham as a man named Farmer, this is Lord Of The Rings via Wish.com including an appearance from Gimli himself (Jonathan Rhys-Davies), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) and an evil dark wizard played by...Ray Liotta!?
