Terrorism, violent, criminal, extremist, radical, illegal. Those are the kinds of words attached to the Animal Liberation Front, a global anarchist movement fighting for animal liberation.

If you listen to media outlets or governmental institutions like the FBI, the message is clear: Animal Liberation Front activists are scary, keep your distance from that dangerous crowd!

In order to counteract this dominant narrative, the North American Animal Liberation Press Office was formed in 1994 and to this day the press office takes a proactive stance to communicate the actions, strategies and philosophy of the Animal Liberation Front to the public.
