Ep. 5 Victorious Faith (pt 5 of Victorious)

Using portraits of Abel and Enoch, the writer of Hebrews in the first six verses of chapter 11 presents to us a vibrant faith that’s assured in God, approved by God, and appealing to God. Big Idea: My faith in God makes me victorious. Hebrews 11:1-6. 5-25-25. Colonial Church in Wichita Falls. www.colonialchurch.com

Ep 4. Victorious Over Sin (pt 4 of Victorious)

In Romans 6, the apostle Paul declares that a believer in Christ is dead to sin’s slavery and fully alive in Christ, and that when he/she is freely and fully given to the Lord, “Sin is no longer my master. Jesus is.” That’s the Big Idea of “Victorious Over Sin.” Romans 6:4-14. 5-18-25. Colonial Church in Wichita Falls. www.colonialchurch.com

Ep. 3 Victorious Sacrifice (pt 3 of Victorious)

In Romans 5 we find that sin revealed our need for sacrifice, one from Jesus that reversed sin’s curse. Our response to that should be to live sacrificially in His grace. Big Idea: Sacrificing for Jesus is not about what you give up, but what you gain that is even greater. Romans 5:12-21. 5-11-25. Colonial Church in Wichita Falls. www.colonialchurch.com

Ep. 2 Victorious Hope (pt 2 of Victorious)

In his encounter with Jesus in Matthew 8, the Roman centurion in search of healing for his servant—who humbly acknowledged Jesus’ ability to heal from a distance with a mere word—found that Jesus holds great healing, great authority, and great hope. Big Idea: When we come to Jesus in faith, we find hope. Matthew 8:5-13. 5-4-25. Colonial Church in Wichita Falls. www.colonialchurch.com

Ep. 1 The Victorious One (pt 1 of Victorious)

The Victorious One In Revelation 1, the Apostle John received a vision of the Glorious, Resurrected, Victorious Christ that encouraged him, the 7 churches of Asia Minor, and encourages the church today. Big Idea: Jesus Christ is the victorious Lord of all. Rev. 1:12-20. 4-27-25. Colonial Church in Wichita Falls. www.colonialchurch.com
