Mike Malloy: “Mike the Durable” Meet Mike Malloy, the Depression-era New Yorker who somehow survived an absolutely ridiculous number of attempts on his life. Cary Stayner

Phoebe Handsjuk was a 24-year-old woman whose death inside the Balencea Apartments in Melbourne, Australia, on December 2, 2010, remains one of the country's most debated cases. Investigators concluded that her death was the result of a tragic accident after determining she had entered the chute herself while under the influence of alcohol and prescription medication. Jaycee Dugard
