Episode notes
The terms we use to describe our inner world — 'anxiety,' 'trauma,' 'attachment style' — are like borrowed tools from a garage we've never seen. They were handed to us by people who themselves inherited them.
They're useful only insofar as they help you see more clearly. The moment they start boxing you in, they become the box. The real work is to set aside the vocabulary and look at what's actually happening inside you right now.
A map can guide you, but it's not the terrain. And sometimes the most honest thing you can do is put the map down and walk.
