Many neurodivergent employees are carrying the invisible cognitive and physiological cost of masking in workplaces designed around neurotypical norms. At the same time, women in perimenopause may be managing disrupted sleep, cognitive changes, anxiety, fatigue and significant shifts in capacity while being assessed against performance baselines established before their physiology changed.
