[ENG] Flor Coghi from Finca Las Piedritas in Cartago, Costa Rica

Our guest today is Flor Coghi, a coffee producer from Costa Rica. You already know about our TWICE connection to the Women Powered Coffee Summit, it's where we all met! We also met Flor at the second annual Summit in Costa Rica. She was a part of the Bean Voyage leadership team - she also went on in future years to help folks like us host workshops at the Summit. Flor is also a coffee producer, so we're very excited to hear her perspective.

[ENG] Marisa Zapata from Novel Coffee Roasters in Ft Worth, Texas

Our guest today is Marisa Zapata. We met Marisa at the Women Powered Coffee Summit in Chiapas, Mexico, last year in 2025. We were so inspired by Marisa's kindness, her ability to put anyone talking to her at ease, and her ability to use heritage and experience to connect. She's an inspirational community organizer, bringing together women roasters from her region in Texas.

[ENG] Jess Keenan from Ascension Coffee in Dallas, Texas

Our guest today is Jess Keenan, the President and CEO of Ascension Coffee out of Dallas, Texas. Jess has long been an active advocate for gender equity in the coffee industry, and we have followed her work and career for many years. We finally got to know Jess at the Women Powered Coffee Summit in Veracruz, Mexico in 2023. We were so inspired by her leadership and her deep connection to quality as a Q grader.

[ENG] Carolina Peralta from Florencia y Fortunata Café in Cusco, Peru

Our guest today is Carolina Peralta. We met Caro at the Women Powered Coffee Summit in Veracruz, Mexico in 2023. We were so inspired by Caro's energy and her work - she's the owner and founder of Florencia y Fortunata in Cusco, Peru, which is a roasting company and cafe that sources coffee from local women producers. Caro is opening the doors to specialty coffee education in her city, as well as nurturing an appreciation for high quality, women produced coffee.

[ENG] Tanya Rao from Kaveri Coffee in Berkeley, California

Our guest today is Tanya Rao. She's a very special friend of Stephanie's, they became friends roasting at CoRo in Berkeley, CA. Tanya has a heritage connection to coffee roasting, and she has a passion for Indian coffee and the power of connection and curiosity. We are very lucky to have Tanya in our industry!

[ENG] Kendra Sledzinski from Caravela Coffee in Philadelphia, PA

Our guest today is Kendra Sledzinski. Her role is Customer Relationship Manager for Caravela Coffee, and she's deeply invested in community - a perspective that guides how she perceives and engages with the coffee industry. Amaris knew Kendra when she was an Educator at Joe Coffee, so we know Kendra brings a broad range of experience when it comes to quality, from cafe to farm.

[ENG] Sum Ngai from Coffee Project NY in NYC

Our guest today is Sum Ngai. Sum is the co-founder of Coffee Project NY, an incredibly inspirational coffee business in New York City. Sum is an incredibly knowledgeable and caring educator, on top of being a skilled competitor. She is driven by the goal of seeing her team reach their goals, and her kindness is unparalleled! I'm looking forward to this conversation with Sum, and I hope you enjoy it.

[ENG] Brittany Amell from Covoya Coffee, based in New Jersey

Our guest today is Brittany Amell. Britt is a green coffee trader for Covoya Specialty and a Q Grader. She also has some of the most real, genuine energy of anyone we've met - she is invested in understanding how we each contribute to a more equitable industry. Amaris met Britt through the Q course in 2020, and we briefly discuss how much has changed in that program since then.
