"Those Revolting Teens!" Teenagers in Revolt Movies Double-Feature with Mitch Watson
Episode notes
Well, Screening Roomers - it turns out we weren't quite done with our exploration into the sub-genre of Teenagers in Revolt films (the perfect companion ep. to Ep. 60 "Edgy"Teen Films with writer/director Tim Hunter)... as our cult movie expert, Emmy award winning writer/showrunner - Mitch Watson, joins FM to talk about how revolting they both were as teens and also take a stage dive into two of our favorites in the TMSR... 1979's suburban youth gone wild classic OVER THE EDGE and 1983's punk rock favorite SUBURBIA! So, join us for feathered haired and mohawked teen rebels in two cult classics that feature fantastic time-capsule of their eras soundtracks...memorable performances from their young casts... and rabid dogs (plus, an appropriate guest appearance from Mitch's own dog!!!) - be there or be square, Screening Roomers!
