Wars, Rumors of Wars, and the Chaos of End Times

During this season of Advent (the 4 weeks before Christmas) we are reminded of the time when the children of Israel were awaiting their Messiah. At the time their world was in bondage to the empire of Rome. Today, we are in a time of a second advent, awaiting Christ’s second coming. The Bible talks about wars, rumors of wars, and much chaos in the days leading up to His return. Are you waiting and ready? Guest host Jim Calhoun shares on today’s episode. The Times, They Are a-Changin'

On October 26, 1963, just over 60 years ago, Bob Dylan wrote and recorded the song, The Times, They Are a-Changin'. The song was released a year and a half later and became an anthem for an unstable time. By the mid-1960s, the United States had lost a President to an assassination and was ramping up an unpopular war in Vietnam. The Cold War with the Soviet Union was driving much of our economy, and unrest was coming to urban areas and college campuses all over the nation. The “Turbulent 60s” was a time of major change, and while many people hoped the result would be a more peaceful and prosperous age, that age has yet to materialize. If anything, we are in a worse state than 60 years ago. Today, Bob examines the fruits of the seed sowed in the 1960s. Now, do you believe in this ministry? The Peace on Earth myth is here again.

Two weeks from today, much of the world will celebrate “Christmas,” or some worldly counterfeit derivative. The radio stations will blare what is called “Holiday Music” so as not to offend those who hate the name of Christ, and the TV screens will be filled with “mushy” holiday specials and Hallmark movies to make us feel better about ourselves, if only for a moment. But will this world ever really know peace? Bob explores that and more, on this new episode. Also, Bob gives a health update about his recent surgery. Now, do you believe in this ministry? The Sunday Message from Trinity Chapel (12-10-2023)

Today’s message for the Second in Advent is on the topic of preparing the way of the Lord as a “Remnant Church.” Sadly, many churches in our troublesome times are far less a place of active disciples engaged in the work of Christ’s Church, and often just a gathering of spectators. The House of the Mouse has fallen

There was a time when Disney movies, theme parks, and merchandise were family-friendly and a “safe haven” for young children, but those days are long gone. Disney and its associated empires are now corrupted by some of the worst evil this world has ever seen. Bob shares his thoughts on how our once revered institutions have been coopted, including our education system and more. Now, do you believe in this ministry?
