Kenneth Park, Joseph Anthony Mitchell, and Brian Thomas. On the outside, these men might not have seemed to have much in common other than being devoted husbands and fathers. Kenneth Park is Canadian and once lived in Pickering, Ontario. Joseph Anthony Mitchel is American and once lived in Durham, North Carolina. Finally, Brian Thomas is British and once lived in Neath, Wales. But the common denominator is that all three men were accused of murder and successfully used a “sleepwalking defense” in their trials.
