In 2008, deer hunters in rural Wisconsin came across the badly decomposed body of a young female in a creek on an abandoned farm. The homicide victim was unidentified for 13 years until forensic genealogy was used to give her back her identity. The young woman was believed to be the victim of a sex trafficking related homicide and investigators now are working to solve the murder.
