Be Someone in 10 Seconds Day
Episode notes
National Be Someone Day – July 21
National Be Someone Day reminds us that changing a child's life can begin with just a few seconds of courage. Children often don't ask for help directly—they hope a trusted adult will notice.
If you suspect abuse, you do not need proof. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and report your concerns. If a child tells you about abuse, stay calm, listen, believe them, thank them for telling you, don't promise to keep it secret, and contact the appropriate authorities.
