Trading with Jesus

Trading with Jesus

Season 2

You Control The Process, God Controls The Outcome

Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 16, because I believe this chapter carries one of the most freeing lessons a trader can ever learn. So many people enter the markets believing success comes from learning how to control every outcome. We spend hours studying charts, building strategies, backtesting setups, refining execution, and trying to eliminate uncertainty. But Proverbs chapter 16 reminds us of something powerful: we may control our preparation, but God ultimately controls the outcome.

How You Respond Under Pressure Reveals Everything

It’s Monday, a brand new week, and before the charts start moving and the emotions of the market begin testing us again, I want us to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 15. I believe this chapter carries one of the most important lessons a trader can learn, because at the end of the day, trading is not just about strategy. It is about learning how to respond when pressure shows up.

Not Every Opportunity Is Meant For You

It’s Sunday, and before a new trading week begins, I think this is the perfect time for us to pause and reflect on something that can make or break not only our trading, but the direction of our entire lives. Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 14, because this chapter reminds us that not everything that looks good on the surface is actually meant for us. Sometimes the greatest danger we face is not obvious destruction, but opportunities that appear good while quietly leading us away from discipline and God’s direction.

Trust The Process God Has You In

Since it’s the weekend, I want us to slow down for a moment and reflect on something I believe every trader wrestles with at some point, and that is learning how to trust the process when results are taking longer than expected. Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 13, because this chapter reminds us that lasting success is rarely built through quick results. More often than not, God is doing a deeper work in us through the process long before we ever see the outcome we are praying for.

Growth Begins When You Accept Correction

Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 12, because this chapter teaches a lesson that every trader eventually has to learn if they want long-term success, and that lesson is simple: you cannot grow if you refuse correction.

Who You Become Matters More Than What You Gain

Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 11, because this chapter reminds us of something the trading world rarely talks about. We spend so much time focusing on what we can gain — bigger payouts, larger account sizes, financial freedom, consistency, and success — but God is asking a far deeper question: Who are you becoming while you pursue those things?

The Small Decisions Shape The Big Outcome

Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 10, because this chapter carries a truth that every trader needs to understand: success and failure are rarely created in one single moment. More often than not, the future we experience is built through the small decisions we make consistently every single day.

Be Careful Which Voice You Follow

Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 9, because this chapter reminds us of something every trader faces every single day: there are always different voices fighting for your attention, but the voice you choose to follow will ultimately shape your outcome.

The Greatest Edge Is God’s Direction

As we step into a brand new week, I want us to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 8, because I believe this chapter carries one of the most powerful reminders every trader needs to hear. In a world where so many people are chasing money, success, payouts, and financial freedom, God asks us a very important question: What are you pursuing more… profit or heavenly wisdom?

Fathers Lead With Discipline, Not Emotion

First and foremost, happy Father’s Day to all the fathers out there carrying the responsibility of leading, providing, protecting, and setting the example for the next generation. Today I want to spend some time in the Book of Proverbs chapter 7, because I believe this chapter teaches something every man, every father, and every trader needs to understand: when emotion begins leading your decisions, destruction is usually not far behind. Whether in life, in leadership, or in trading, discipline will always matter more than temporary feelings.
