The team discusses a top-of-mind topic for Pittsburghers: “tent cities.” With a live fact check cameo from Kelsey Bastin the team reflects how the homeless population recently affected a client’s decision to move their 100+ employees and company to downtown Pittsburgh. The conversation seg ways into the topic “should you buy or lease your space if you’re a small business.” In which the Totum Realty Advisors immediate question is: do you want to be a real estate investor, or do you want to own your building? The true take away is that somebody in the relationship (even though it’s the same person potentially) will “lose” to benefit the other party – Tenant or Owner. Lastly a promise is made by Totum to their listeners that by next podcast guest they’ll have a name for the podcast. Ideas for a name - please send our way?!
