Monsters vs. Aliens Review

TFG1Mike and Sketch1984 take on DreamWorks' 2009 sci-fi action comedy about Susan Murphy, a bride-to-be who gains superpowers and must team up with a group of monsters to stop an alien invasion. They discuss the film's stellar voice cast (featuring Reese Witherspoon, Stephen Colbert, Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen, and others), Susan's character arc of self-discovery, and whether this movie holds up as entertainment. The hosts compare it to other DreamWorks and Pixar offerings, debate the merits of 3D cinema, and consider whether the film really needed spin-off specials and a TV series.
