GW8 | Spurs Spoil Toon Celebrations | 5 Star Liverpool Destroy Watford | Arsenal Steal Last Minute Point At Home To Palace
Episode notes
We open the episode analyzing Newcastle's first game since the takeover at a packed St. James' Park, Spurs were the visitors. Newcastle was looking for their first win of the season to really kick off a new era for the club in a positive way and thats how it started but not how it ended. We discuss Steve Bruce, Newcastle's future & Spurs' best 11. Then we go to Watford where Claudio Ranieri took charge of his first game against in-form Liverpool & Mo Salah. And it wasn't a good start for Ranieri as Liverpool cruise to victory with a Firmino hat-trick & a Salah wondergoal. We look at all the managers under the Watford owners & Sensational Salah's start to the season. And the final game we analyze was Patrick Vieira's return to Arsenal this time as the Crystal Palace manager. And the former Gunner's captain was left disappointed to come away from North London with just a point at the final whistle as sub Lacazette equalised with the last kick off the game for Arsenal. We discuss a decent start to life for Vieira as Palace Head Coach & Auba or Laca to lead the line for Arsenal. Rounding off the rest of the results topics come up such as the problems at Man United, Ings/Watkins strike partnership for Villa & Chelsea's Marvelous Mendy.
