The UnLearn

by Solomon Edmond

Unlearning is the process of discarding things that are no longer relevant to your growth. When you unlearn something you forget it, put it aside, and lose knowledge of it.

If something you’re holding on to no longer serves your higher calling, UnLearn it!

    The Finale

Well, Fam.  We’ve come to the end of a chapter, and I don’t know if this is the final chapter or just a pause of this series. But it has been an incredible journey challenging you to Unlearn everything you thought you knew about God and to learn him all over again. I pray this experience has given you cause to get to know God for yourself on an intimate level, one-on-one. When you do that, an unshakeable trust in Him will develop that NO one can take away. Beloved, we must be convinced that there is absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God! He loves you. He’s got you. All of you. No matter what. Thank you for taking this ride with me. Until next time...

  • Relax

    Relax

Today, I’d like to speak a word of encouragement to you and remind you to relax. Many of us who were raised ‘old school’ grew up in the church living in fear, condemnation, and guilt and always conscious of our sins, wondering if God really loved you and if he was pleased with you.  We were taught that you had to work hard and toil for salvation when the only thing God asked of us is to simply Believe.  Everything else we need flows from our belief in Him. We rest in Him because His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Relax. When you rest, God works!

  • Pay Attention

    Pay Attention

On today's episode of the Unlearn, we are discussing the certain reality of change. We know that life is a constant series of change and nothing stays the same. As God's children we sometimes tend to think God will always do things the same way. We should never get so familiar or comfortable with God that we think we know Him like that! Yes, He's the same yesterday, today and forever, but the way He does things may change. God is a progressive God...always moving. And our ability to hear his voice and obey what He says is critical. We must pay close attention to what God is saying and be ready to move at His command! Feel free to donate if this has helped you at all, Thank You! CashApp: $Arigato416

    Mind Your Garden(PT3)

I can't seem to get away from the garden! On today's episode we will share final thoughts on the importance of guarding your heart and why it's really impossible to do so without Help. Let me explain. The self-help movement has taken us by storm, empowering us to become our best selves. There's nothing wrong with wanting to better ourselves, but let's be clear, there is no enduring self-help without Jesus! Feel free to donate if this has helped you at all, Thank You! Mind Your Garden(PT2)

Last week's episode is still on my mind! So much so that I decided to go deeper with Pt. 2. Our minds are constantly being bombarded with thoughts, suggestions, and imaginations daily. We must guard the gateways through which seeds are planted in the garden of our heart so we're not growing weeds, but producing good seeds that bear good fruit pleasing to God.
