The Truth Is Weirder by Jamzel Studio

Episode notes

They say there's one human-made thing so enormous you can spot it from space with your bare eyes, maybe even the Moon: the Great Wall of China. You've heard it a hundred times.

Cass swears by it. Pip points out the bit nobody mentions: the Wall is long, but it's skinny, and almost exactly the colour of the dirt around it. Along the way they meet the first astronaut to look down at China and completely fail to find it, and uncover a "fact" that was famous long before anyone could actually check it.

Got a myth you want us to put on trial? We'd love to hear it, email hello@thetruthisweirder.com.
