In this episode, our shortest one to date, we talk with the wonderful Dr. Julie Ponesse; Canadian Philosophy and Ethics Professor, the Pandemic Ethics Scholar for the Democracy Fund, and author of the book “My Choice - The ethical case against the covid 19 vaccine mandate”.
We touch on the perceived limitations in the age of covid and how some people might feel restricted in what they are able/unable to do, and how it’s important to realize that we don’t need to allow circumstances to dictate our state of being. She points out that one is always able to and has room for choice, and what we believe and decide is up to us.
She dives into the realm of possibilities in ethics and its place in our society, pointing out some of the flaws in our current systems, and highlighting the questions of autonomy and collectivism, to name a few. What ...
