Episode 28: “Guilt and Shame” (feat. Josh Cruzan)

Explicit
This week on The Smoke Break Josh, Zane, and Amanda talk about dealing with guilt and shame, news fatigue, and wrap it all up with a fun look into what we wanted to be when we grew up. CHECK US OUT on Shady Pines Radio every Sunday 9-10am and anytime you want on Spotify.

Episode 27: “Excitement For Success” (feat. Elizabeth DiRocco)

Explicit
On this week's episode of The Smoke Break, I promised to tag it, "DON'T START WITH THIS ONE." Or do. Its okay, we all have bad days. So it's a good thing we talked about how hard it is being grateful and staying motivated. ESPCIALLY on days you don't want to show up for yourself. (Spoiler Alert: that's somebody on this episode. I'll let you guess who.) The Smoke Break premiers every Sunday from 9-10am on Shady Pines Radio and is uploaded the same day. (Most of the time...) All rights reserved to the music in this episode.

Episode 26: “A Powerful Voice” (feat. Josh Cruzan & Taylor Barrett)

Explicit
On this weeks episode we have the whole crew back. Well most of them. The Smoke Break discusses the anxiety of taking on more responsibility than you're used to and the importance of the self-care that goes along with that. We also talk about managing anger and what happens when you don't. The Smoke Break premiers every Sunday from 9-10am on Shady Pines Radio and are uploaded the same day. (New intro song by NoNameLame17)

Episode 25: “Where It All Started” (Feat. Barb Thomas)

Explicit
Today is Zane's Birthday and all the original hosts are either sick or recovering from booster shots. So we tried out Anchor and with surprising success we finally have our first episode to upload to Spotify. "A Chance to Start Again" was released to Spotify at the end of 2021 and we've always loved this show and wanted to bring it to a wider audience. And we wanted it done it by Episode 25. Episodes 1-24 can be found on MixCloud. But were starting out the New Year by following through. This show was conceptualized by Zane and Barb Thomas. The idea is that we have an opportunity to make a friend every time we're standing outside with someone. Zane's first and favorite question is always, "What are you excited for?" If you ask someone, "How are you?" They say, "Good, and you?" But if you ask what they're excited for, you get to see them light up and talk about things they love. Even the small stuff. We talk about life while keeping a comedic and mental health focus throughout. (Consider this a loose introduction. Our regular hosts will be back next week with our first official episode.)
