From a young age, many of us absorb expectations about success, identity, and how life “should” look. Together, they explore self-awareness, personal freedom, and the courage it takes to question long-held assumptions. This episode invites listeners to reflect on what truly matters to them—and to begin creating a life that aligns with their own values, not just society’s expectations. Avoiding anything that upset anyone. His passivity left his wife carrying the weight of their lives alone, as he took a back seat in his marriage that was falling apart. In 2013, a health crisis with his father forced him to confront the emotional pain from his childhood that he buried deep within himself. Along his journey he realize that his "Nice Guy" patterns was a main contributor to his struggles in his life and marriage. Through therapy, coaching and relentless inner work, he transformed those patterns and became more present, grounded, and confident. Creating a stronger connection with his wife and kids. Kevin's journey inspired him to create The Canvas Within and step into coaching. Now, Kevin takes his personal experiences and the training he's invested in to help other men heal their past, break free from similar patterns and step into being emotionally mature and authentic men.
