The Non Perfect Parents Club: Jennifer's high school appeal experience

The Non Perfect Parents Club by Emma Townley

Episode notes
In this episode, I am joined by Jennifer, Mum of 3. In Jen's last episode she was midway through the appeal process for high school for her second child and we talked lots about that. So she joined me again to talk about the emotionally grueling process, which Jen says is one of the most challenging things she's ever had to do, Jen talks us through the emotions, the challenges and the process of the appeal system and tells us in detail why it was so frustrating. We discuss the unfairness of the how the whole system works and share some nuggets of advice for parents who are currently applying for high schools, as well as a hilarious story involving brand new school shoes, lost property, a leaky drink and a carrier bag...!
