Diane Dewhirst '75 has over 30 years of experience in national legislative policy. She served in the office of Speaker Nancy Pelosi for more than 15 years and most recently as her chief of staff. Diane served as a liaison to the House Democractic Women's Caucus. .She has served as an independent consultant for the Smithsonian, Children's Defense Fund, Center for Budget Policy and Priorities, and the Alliance for Justice. Diane now serves as Senior Deputy Chair for the National Endowment for the Arts.
