TLBS - William Penn HoCo Game, Fair Catch Controversy, Tin Foil Hat Time, Midseason Heisman Pick, Caleb Williams Switch-Up, Williams v Maye (again), Bill Beats Down Bills

Today on the Logan Blackman Show we we recap all the problems we had this week in regards to watching football, starting with William Penn's homecoming game against Peru State, which saw the Statesmen lose 24-13 with some very odd special teams moments taking place throughout the game. Speaking of odd special teams moments, we turn our attention to the Iowa game, which saw Cooper DeJean's potential game winning punt return touchdown called back as they ruled DeJean 'signaled' for fair catch. We go over whether or not that was the right call and if Iowa will ever be willing to change things on offense, all while putting on our tin foil hats on for a potential conspiracy theory regarding the game. Sticking with college football, we reveal our midseason Heisman Trophy winner as well as go over how people having changed their tone completely when regarding Caleb Williams. With that, we discuss Williams' and Drake Maye's draft stock, with both coming off a loss, and decide whether or not Maye could actually pass up Williams in the 2024 Draft. Finally, we recap the Bills embarrassing loss to the New England Patriots, also try to figure out how things have changed so drastically since the Miami game, and discuss the possibility of the Bills potentially looking for a new HC in the offseason. Enjoy!

TLBS - Najee Harris' Career, Revisiting the 2021 NFL Draft, Caleb Williams News, Sideline 'Outbursts,' State of Iowa Wk 8 Preview, Olympic Flag Football, Ranking American Sport Seasons

Today on the Logan Blackman Show, as we're watching the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the New Orleans Saints, we take a look a both Travis Etienne's and Najee Harris' careers up to this point while also discussing if Harris is actually a 'bust' of a first round draft pick. We then take a look at the 2021 NFL Draft as whole, seeing how each player and team has done since then and figuring out if some of the top picks will ever truly reach their potential. Sticking with the Draft, we fast forward to the 2024 NFL Draft and go over some of the things surrounding USC's Caleb Williams. We go over the recent news saying he wants 'partial ownership' of an NFL team as well as take a look at his 'sideline outburst' v Notre Dame and decide whether or not that is a problem going forward (as well as discuss sideline 'outbursts' as a whole). We then go through our usual 'State of Iowa' preview, going over who each team is playing this weekend as well as taking a look at the resurgent rivalry that is Iowa and the national media. Finally, we make our officially official Olympic flag football team as well as power rank the big four sports in America by how good they are during the regular season and the postseason. Enjoy!

TLBS - Giants Scare Bills, Pass Interference Question Marks, Patriots Future Super Bowl Chances, Caleb Williams v NFL, Chargers Plant Super Fan(?), London Super Bowl

Today on the Logan Blackman Show we recap the Bills close (and somewhat controversial) victory against the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, coming away 14-9 victors. We go over everything that happened throughout the game, about how much Brian Daboll knows about the Bills offense and whether or not a pass interference should've been called on the Giants final play. We then take a look at the Bills next opponent, going over how things have changed over the past few years for the New England Patriots. We then discuss a tweet saying the Patriots would win 'multiple Super Bowls' if they were to land either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye. With that, we take a look at Rick Spielman's list of 'quarterbacks he'd take Williams over,' and see how much we agree with his take on the talented Trojan quarterback. Finally, we go over the 'conspiracy' that the NFL and the Chargers planted a fan in the crowd to go crazy in their game against the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night, as well as discuss how possible a London Super Bowl truly is in the future. Enjoy!

TLBS - PurdyNiners First Loss, Brock Purdy v NFL, Cinnamon Rolls and Chili, State of Iowa Wk 7 Review, Caleb Williams Struggles, Comparing Rookie Quarterbacks

Today on the Logan Blackman Show we do a little watch along as the San Francisco PurdyNiners lose their first game of the season, losing to the Cleveland Browns by a score of 19-17. We discuss how the Niners fortunes have changed from a week ago, if they're still the best team in the league, and which of their players should really be the front runner for league MVP. With that, we go over how Brock Purdy has played this year, discussing how he's currently the betting favorite to win MVP while also playing a game of 'Purdy v the league,' where we decide whether we'd take Brock Purdy or the starting quarterback from each team in the NFL. With Pudry playing for Iowa State, we then go into our week seven state of Iowa review, but first we discuss whether or not cinnamon rolls and chili are truly an 'Iowa thing,' or if people are just making up this gross concoction for attention. Finally, we take a look at Caleb Williams' performance against Notre Dame and discuss whether or not he should still be considered QB1 in next year's draft as well as compare this year's top two picks, Bryce Young and CJ Stroud, and how they've done up to this point in the season. Today on the Logan Blackman Show we discuss everything surrounding the two New Jersey quarterbacks, Zach Wilson and Daniel Jones, aka Vanilla Vick. Starting with Wilson, we go over how good he actually is, his change in attitude, and if Rodney Harrison's comments were warranted after Sunday Night Football. Now onto Vanilla Vick, we discuss the Giants' terrible start, take a look back at Jones' contract, and ask if he's truly the answer at quarterback for the Giants. With that being said, after discussing a potential Justin Fields trade, we take part in an absolutely meaningless 10-team mock draft, where we, as you guessed, mock which player each team currently in the top 10 would take if the draft started today. Finally, we try and figure out how good former Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy truly is while also going over Iowa's quarterback situation given McNamara's injury. Enjoy!

Sticking in the AFC East, we take some time to go over the Jets' Zach Wilson situation and how it reminds us of the Bills' Nathan Peterman situation from 2018, and how the Jets could fix it. We then take a look at the Bears loss to the Broncos, mainly going over their draft board, again, and why they must find a new head coach before they potentially draft Caleb Williams. With that, we recap some college games from this past weekend, though mainly focusing on the Big-3 schools from the state of Iowa. With that, we go over some of the possible quarterbacks the Jets could sign to replace Rodgers, while also discussing whether or not they'd be better options than Zach Wilson.
