Season 1
I'm back baby! I have moved back to my college town, and the academia must have inspired me because I am going to break down my favorite Shakespeare play of all time: Much Ado About Nothing. This is the least serious retelling of Shakespeare's beloved comedy you will ever hear, but I promise, by the end I will have you rooting for witty banter and ready to kill a certain man named Claudio! (Had to mark this episode explicit because I get excited and curse a bit lol! Warning: I start to get a little delulu half way through the episode, but I promise it's just that much more entertaining!)
Settle down, grab a glass of wine, thank Dionysus for it, and let me explain the tales of Orpheus & Eurydice and Hades & Persephone. Why SparkNotes the stories individually when I could just tell you both? Combine tragic love, kidnapping, and a Game-of-Thrones-like compunction for incest, and it's your typical Greek Myth... I promise, you'll be entertained!
Hello fellow amateur historians! Dive with me into my first podcast episode where I tell you all about the life of Lady Jane Grey! Was she as badass as the new Amazon Prime show My Lady Jane suggests, or was she just a pawn used by the men around her to gain power? At Tudor court the stakes are high, the tension is palpable, and Catholics and Protestants just can't get along!
