David is the fire Chief of the Iota volunteer fire department and on the career side he is a Chief of St. Martin Parish, in charge of training. He started the Central Acadiana Fire Symposium, is a plank member of the Cajun FOOLS. He is unsuspecting and quiet, but his love for the job and the amount of effort he pours into being good at what he does is undeniable.
