Episode notes
Season 2, Episode 20: "DOGE Dredges the Swamp: Gators, Grift, and Government Goofs"
Grab your hip boots, patriots, because Caleb and Grace are slogging through the slimiest swamp yet—and it’s a doozy! In just 22 hours, DOGE turned the government into a budget-busting piñata, whacking $580 million in DOD disasters (like an HR system so late it missed the iPhone’s birth) and $420 million in NASA’s cosmic cash grab—including $45 million for consultants to whisper “just vibe” to rocket scientists. The ACA Navigator? Slashed $360 million—turns out signing up for Obamacare didn’t need a private jet budget! But hold your gators, folks: $312 million in COVID loans went to kids who can’t spell “taxes,” and $333 million to folks older than Methuselah’s grandma. DEI and foreign aid got the chop too, all blasted out on X faster than a swamp skeeter on a bender. Join the DOGE believers as we uncover truths so wild, you’ll laugh, cry, and wonder if the swamp’s just a giant grift puddle—only on The Daily DOGE Report!
