The Brothers of Babel
Season 1
Intro to What is Real
The Brothers of Babel #2: Heartbeat of the Yellow Brick Road
by Walter Maximus Mitty and Pretty Tony
The conversation begins with us looking at the cool t-shirt Jay bought me for last bday that I was planning on wearing during our conversation, but I decided to do yardwork in July just before recording... It's a shirt with a bent spoon with the quote, "There is no spoon..." So, we reflect on the allusion to The Matrix's allegorical reference to "the spoon" and what is real. After all, we live in a time where everyone is questioning every thing...
Join us as we explore a collection of more interconnected, big ideas about following something else that calls us away from the rest of society's constructs to be true to ourselves.
After decades of contemplation, the Brothers of Babel begin a discussion of a vast array of ideas that circle back to living an authentic life together in an era of chaos and confusion where open empathy, unity, and open-mindedness are on the brink of extinction.
