Your Work Ethic Might Actually Be Anxiety

Some people call it a strong work ethic. But sometimes, constant busyness is really anxiety in disguise.

In Luke 10:38–42, Martha is working hard to serve Jesus, yet she becomes so distracted by everything that needs to be done that she misses the opportunity to simply be present with Him. Mary chooses differently. She stops, listens, and focuses on what matters most.

This lesson applies directly to our work, leadership, and home life. Productivity matters, but it should never come at the cost of presence. You can complete every task, answer every email, and hit every goal—and still miss the people and moments that matter most.
