More Chaos from Western Countries. Especially the U.S.

I found a few news stories this week but as always, there’s just too much chaos going on around the world for me to delve into the front page news. There are plenty of other, more accomplished journalists, who’re taking care of that for us already. What I did find, are a couple of articles about climate change. To which the current U.S. administration has order the removal of this terminology from its public vocabulary, along with the acronym DEI. I also have some news stories about the current European crisis regarding the U.S. pulling back from Europe secure. I do have a couple of other stories to talk about as well, that are not part of the mainstream you should know about, such as the real possibility of the U.S. committing piracy on the high seas, or it seems so anyway. I'll let you be the judge. I am also going to talk about just how bad the infrastructure is in the United States in bits and pieces over the next couple of weeks. This week, I start with cybersecurity or lack thereof. Once I've finished talking about the stories I found for this week, I would ask everyone to stick around through my commercial break because I have a treat for any listeners today. One of my favorite storytellers has written a second installment to a short story I read to people last November in my old podcast, Crann na beatha Stories and Poetry. It is a dystopian future story about climate change. I will be adding in some sound effects as well. I did this with the first installment so it wouldn't feel right if I didn't do the same with this chapter.

A Conversation about Eugenics and the State of the World

Better Late Than Never. More Chaos Ensues

The sun has been shining a wee bit where I am, along with rising temperatures. And I'm a few days behind on my normal schedule this week. I'm still dealing with home repairs caused by climate change this winter and I'm not done yet. But the work I needed to do to date did cause an interruption in my normal schedule. With everything that's going on in my household, and the world at large, I shouldn't be too awfully worried about this minor hiccup. Given the way things are moving so fast, this may not be the last schedule disruption I will incur this year. I managed to find a handful of news stories from across the spectrum, in between my work schedule, to point out how all of this is going to affect average citizens around the world. A Focus on a couple of Things that affect the rest of us less privileged People

But they’re starting to. More and more people across the world are starting to speak out against all of this chaos and that’s a good thing. Even in Ireland, were the majority of the industries are American owned. I plan to be one of those speaking out here. My focus will be on how all of this will affect the average person everywhere in the world. I will pick out some stories to bring to your attention every week, to try and point a spotlight on all of this madness. And that is going to be the thread going forward this year. The state of average people's lives as we try to duck what's coming. The Changing World Order

I don't want to get into that too much as every media outlet across the world will be doing that for us. Instead, I want to talk a little about the why's of what we are seeing across the world. I can't even begin to scratch the surface, but I do want to pay particular attention to the United States today and why they've been trying so hard to subjugate the world for the last more than one hundred years. Another Conversation about the Things that Scare Us the Most

This week, I had another long conversation with my friend Mitch, as you may remember from last year, lives in central Florida. We've talked about these things before but, with Trumps inauguration upon us next week, we're running a little scared of the future and what his already chaotic presidency may bring us over the next two to four years. Come join us as we talk about the future, sometimes, with a little humor, our fears of, as he puts it, the new version of Hitler's infamous Brown Shirts, who may soon be visiting a neighborhood like yours. Knocking on doors, demanding to see residency papers. We talk about the Trump's rhetoric about the annexation of Canada, Greenland, the possible military invasion of Mexico and Panama, and what that might mean for the rest of us. What's going on in Europe right now and what that might mean for the rest of us. Sometimes, the conversation veered into some personal things, such as our families, how they are managing all of this change and what their futures may look like. The podcast is long but, as I watched it while editing, it seemed like the time went by quickly.
