[NEWS]

A repeat theft suspect is in custody after a brazen retail theft in Sacramento County.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested 33-year-old Anthony Eastman after he allegedly stole merchandise from a Harbor Freight Tools, left the store, then returned and stole more items.

Deputies located Eastman nearby with the stolen merchandise and drug paraphernalia. A records check showed he was on probation with three outstanding warrants.

Store employees report Eastman had stolen from the same business six times in the past three weeks, with losses totaling several thousand dollars.

Eastman was positively identified and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.
