Episode notes
This is the first episode of our first season, addressing the causes component of ACARA v9 content descriptor AC9HH10K01: the causes, outbreak and course of the Second World War and the significance of Australian involvement.
Episode 1 will cover the interwar developments that contributed to the outbreak of war between 1918 and 1934, including the Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations, the political consequences of the Russian Revolution, the Great Depression, and the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.
