I sit down with Dr. Miiko Rowley, a Financial Analyst turned Physician who ultimately found her calling in Functional Medicine.

Dr. Rowley began her amazing career studying overseas in Japan as a financial analyst but soon realized that the work she was doing, while important to others, did not fulfill her. Determined to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a physician, she made the bold decision to go back to school. Before entering medical school, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

During an ER visit, she encountered a resident physician whose lack of compassion reinforced her belief that she could make a difference in the field of medicine. Undeterred by her diagnosis, she forged ahead, knowing that becoming a physician was her true path.
