On the night between December 30 and December 31, 2000, Mikio Miyazawa, Yasuko Miyazawa, and their children Niina and Rei were killed inside their home in Setagaya, Tokyo. The offender left behind an unusually large amount of evidence: clothing, shoes, a hip bag, a scarf, handkerchiefs, hair, blood, fingerprints, food traces, and signs of movement through the house. This episode follows the house itself as the case structure, from entry and timeline to objects, DNA, motive theories, and the unanswered escape. More than twenty-five years later, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department still seeks information and the case remains publicly unresolved.
