Episode notes
Jordan and Brooke are joined by culture writer Marya E. Gates to discuss 1959's game-changing Biblical epic (in which the Bible is like...a C plot?). They talk cast! Budget! Epic production! As well as some super shady drama including screenwriter Gore Vidal reading Charlton Heston for filth in the press, obvious gay subtext that miraculously flew under the ratings radar, and one truly insane chariot sequence.
